Millenia Medical Staffing (MMS) is a privately owned medical staffing company based in the beautiful low country town of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, across the bridge from historic Charleston. MMS was incorporated in October of 1999. The President of Millenia Medical has fourteen years of on-the-job training in the travel nursing industry. Since its inception, the company has continued to grow exponentially and has clearly defined goals for the future.
In 2003 Millenia Medical Staffing was selected as, Hall of Fame quarterback, Terry Bradshaws Pick of The Week and was spotlighted nationally on MSNBC. This year also included receipt of an award by the Charleston Chamber of Commerce as one of the Emerging 10 companies in the region. Additionally, MMS was one of an exclusive group of nominees to be considered as the top performer in South Carolinas Fastest-Growing Companies 2003.
Our vision is to successfully equip and prepare our staff, through proper training, to professionally communicate with all of our clients, and to create a positive atmosphere that promotes open dialogue. We believe that communication is the key to assisting others accomplish their goals. We strive to communicate in an efficient and friendly manner in order to reach our goal of assisting our travelers. MMS strongly emphasizes high ethical standards when directing others. Our corporate meetings stress the importance of practicing honesty and integrity in all instances, whether personal or business. It is our belief that loyalty begets loyalty.

Millenia Medical Staffing has gone above and beyond to satisfy me during my first travel assignment. My pay has never been late or wrong. I've always had prompt response to any questions I've had, be it my recruiter, or just someone from the company. Ray has been great. Mark has been great as well.

When I left arizonia my next assisgnment was with this company. Since there would be a week to get to this assisgnment in charleston,s.c.,when I got there the hourly wage was changed because low and behold they had not recieved this assisgnment as a travel position so it was per diem and they also wanted to decrease the pay(usually other way around)and because I would still need housing.The apartment had dead ****roaches all over. I also no longer would get any bennies because it was per diem. I would be careful of the sweet talk and the prayers and any other religous talk they spew forth like they really are christians. I would never reccomend this company to anyone.

housing nightmares; communication nightmares; nightmare of a company

This company is the worst! My assignments have been nightmares, solely due to this company, and not the hospitals they contract. Housing is an unbelievable nightmare. Unsafe housing, unsanitary housing, broken-down housing, eviction notices for non-payment by company, power shut-off for non-payment by company, repeated final-notices left on doors, I could go on... Total lack of communication and problem-solving. They are clueless and try to be the ultimate sales-people. If you don't want headaches, hardship, frustration, and diseases from the housing they put you in, DON'T go with Millenia Medical Staffing!

I had a travel housing nightmare, 3rd world conditions they expected me to live in, and no resolution offered. They failed to pay me agreed to monies for travel reimbursement. They are awful, stay away from them.
