Maxim Healthcare Services was established in 1988 under the name Medcall Medical Staffing. Our company was created to service the staffing needs of the long-term care industry on the east coast.
The company's name was changed to Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in 1992 following the acquisition of NSI Home Health Services. The acquisition helped to increase our knowledge of the homecare industry and expedite expansion across the nation.
In 1996, Maxim added a wellness division named Maxim Health Systems, LLC. Maxim Health Systems offers a full line of immunizations and health screenings nationwide.
Later, Maxim began an aggressive growth campaign to address the staff shortages in various healthcare related fields. In a 3-year time span, the company added Maxim Staffing Solutions (allied health and medical administrative staffing) and TravelMax Medical Professionals (travel nursing). Also during this time span, Maxim Staffing Solutions added two subdivisions, Maxim Physician Resources (Physician placement and staffing) and Maxim Coding Solutions (Coding & HIM professionals). Together, the divisions make Maxim one of the largest home health care and medical staffing companies in the United States.

Worked through the office in Los Angeles, did not have a regular contract. The guys are GREAT there. I moved & truly miss them. I could get paid the next day if I needed to. Sometimes they could confirm a shift that evening but would give me a wake-up call the next morning! Talk about service-with a ring! They allowed me to master schedule with places. The LA office is just the best!!

Although I have only "traveled" locally for this company, they have treated me top-notch! I have received $10/hr in pay raises in 18 months, and although I had to press for a bonus (worked same hospital for last 18 mo.) I did recieve a "bonus" check from them.... They do appreciate hard work and are very good at letting you know they appreciate you... Occasional time/pay issues, but very good at making it right.
