First Call Team Inc. was founded in 1999 by David W. Nations, a 30-year veteran of the St. Louis healthcare industry. In the first two years of operation, First Call Team had successfully placed nurses in two thirds of all St. Louis hospitals and several out state Missouri and Illinois hospitals. First Call Team has since become a top provider for some of St. Louis’s largest hospitals. First Call Team also offers an abundance of travel opportunities throughout the country.
First Call Team’s mission is to supply skilled, compassionate medical professionals to healthcare providers, thereby enhancing the well-being of their patients; and to provide basic health services to corporate employers, thus promoting the health of their employees and the economic vitality of the communities in which they operate.

Overall First Call Team is a great company to work for. They have very friendly service. Their recruiters go above and beyond their ability to make sure you are happy with your position. They have great benefits and they just switched their 401k and dental to even better plans. The bonuses aren't amazing but the extra cash is nice. Their wages are very competitive as well. Overall First Call Team is a great company
