I did like one of my many many recruiters
|
|
Negative aspects of the product (cons):
|
If you have an issue they don't address it! They give you the run around. My housing was horrible and they didn't care. Once you sign the contract they move on.
|
|
It has been nothing but revolving recruiters there. It's almost comical

Unbvelieveable recruiter was almost abusive at times. They pass you from one person to another and noone will help you with your issues.
Housing was subpar and over an hour from facility, had three recruiters for one assignment

Have had three recruiters in last 1.5 years. Have to fight to get bonuses. Housing subpar. Pay goes down with each assingment. Make me feel desperate when waiting for new assignments. Rarely return calls. Be prepared to wait three weeks for your firs

They lie frequently. Have no concept of what a nurse does for a living. or for that matter where your living after a year and a half they still send my paperwork to my home place. I mean duh! You put me here and you don't know where that is. Calls with new assigment offers and then says or your not qualified to do that. Can you read a resume. It is a piece of paper that tells my qualifications. They have me on assignment in a place that has been sold and is threatening to strike and they didn't even know it was sold. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a job.

I am an ER Nurse from the beautiful state of TX. After traveling with several travel companies. I found a home with Core. They listen to all my needs and although I am a fussy traveler they always find me great places to work. They even gave me a free trip to the Bahamas this year since I have been with them for a year. Core is great. In response to the last posted review, I am a core employee but as a traveler for the last year.

This is my first assignment with Core Med. I did fight to get higher pay and more money for housing. My recruiter has been good. I have not seen my travel money and housing reinbursement has been sporadic. Also havent been reinbursed for license either. Love the hosp but dont think they are gonna renew travelers.

Too Many to name here!

I was told nothing but lies by this company. My housing was horrible, (the housing projects in my home city look better than what they put me in). I had numerous problems, with un-safe assignments, and I never could get my recruiter to return my calls. My checks were always wrong, and then it took them so long to correct the problem, and pay me what they owed me! The staff is nice at first, but once you get to your assignment, they treat you like ****! DON'T make the mistake of signing a contract with them!

Let's see, Never pay you on time, did not get reimbursed for my license, never got my bonus, and housing would be nicer in Iraq.
|
|
I have never spoken with a more disorganized company in my life. When I called to see why I had yet to receive my paycheck, my bonus, or my licensure reimbursement, I was given the biggest run around. In my 13 week assignment had two recruiters, both who were awful. Save your time & money...look elsewhere

I'm on my fourth assignment and it all comes down to the recruiter, if I didn't have Dara J.(last name long, can't spell) she's the only Dara there. I would have had problems, but, she was always available for me and always returned calls/ emails within the same day. They have treated me wonderful, and you are right I will go on a cruise this january that they are paying for 100%. They have bent over backwards for anything I could possibly need or want.

I know that all companies have their hidden ghosts. I have read the responses, and the only thing that I can truly say is that a recruiter can make or break the company. I have a wonderful recruiter who is very prompt in returning my calls, and if I have any problems, she is right on them and gets them fixed. I have always had wonderful apartments in gated communities, close to pretty much everything from malls to grocery stores. I think that anyone seriously interested in traveling should call Core and ask for Kristen Berube. She will be your friend and the best recruiter that you have had or will have.

Core was the only company that could get me my VERY FIRST TRAVEL assignment in Hawaii. All others told me I'd have to work California first and blew off my Hawaii request. I applied with Core and interviewed THAT night in an ER in Hawaii. That was in March....I am now still in Kauai, Hawaii. Happily working at my ER in paradise.
I have never had a problem getting pay on time from Core. Actually, when I forgot to fax my time sheet, they went out of their way on my behalf to pay me my scheduled hours until I could fax them my info. Housing has been nothing short of gorgeous in beautiful Hawaii.
Recruiters make the world of difference in travel companies. Call and ask for Dara Juknavorian. She has been great and I highly recommend working with her and Core Medical Group.
