Recruiters come and go often

My traveling days began with Travel Nurse Across America, and my recruiter was everything you should expect from a travel placement professional...My wages were good, the benefits excellent, and the travel allowance generous. My housing was outstanding.
Unfortunately, she left after my 3rd assignment and was "replaced" by a very poor substitute, who I chose not to work with after several failed attempts at communicating my wants and needs.
I have recommended this company in the past, and will continue to do so, as their housing department is excellent and their wages fair and on time, as well as their choice of assignments.
One of their important strengths is that they will back up and support their nurses when things go wrong, as they sometimes do, in an assignment, or it turns out not to be "as described" by the nurse manager during your interview...TNAC backs their nurses to the max...and that is very important in this ever changing business!
My only reservation, and this is something to consider, is that the "quality" of their recruiters is inconsistent...If you are lucky enough to get one of the "good" ones, you'll find few companies that will go to bat for you as TNAC will, but if you strike out with the recruiter, you can go from happy to nightmare in a second.

They did not listen to me, when I finished my assignment. The listened to a poor example of management and it resulted in chaos because of her!. The OR Director saw me a total of 4 times and yet she did my evaluation. I only spoke with her 2 times. Poor m

Being my first travel assignment, I was apprehensive, but the team, Jody,Carla, and Jenny, quickly solved any and most problems I did have in a quick manner. They were terrific. I only hate they were swayed by the backbiting individuals that caused me to lose this travel agent!.The only other con was I was compared to the other travelers that worked at the other facilities in Hanford,Calif. That was not fair,as I am a individual. Overall it was a fabulous experience, but one I would not repeat. i will research the facility myself. Don't believe the person you interview with at the hospitla because it could be a whole different ballgame when you get there.
