Provide direct clinical services for pain clinic patients. Also provide inpatient call 1 in 3 weeks for inpatient pain consults and outpatient cancer patient needs. Under clinic physician, perform H&P, follow-ups, co-ordination of care. Assess patient pain needs and follow-through with appropriate plans. Evaluate drug screens and make appropriate recommendations to PCP for further care. Re-eval all procedure patients prior to procedures and screen for potential complications. Inpatient will review patient's pain regimen and implement appropriate regimen based on patient's tolerance and clinical status, then follow until pain controlled. Work in co-operation with other physicians and PA's to decrease pain scores and length of hospital stays.
