IMHO, my shoulder rehab is too slow. However, my PT & Orthopod tells me my progress is normal. Bugs the crap out of me I can't lift weights like I'm use to doing.
I'm fortunate FT Sam & FT Hood are only a 2.5 hr drive apart, which makes seeing my grandson doable. My son deploys to Iraq next month but his wife & newborn are staying in there newly purchased home near FT Hood.
