    Question question

I am planning on getting like specialty nursing, but then Ive been curious on how to get a specific specialty.

How can i get a specialty? Is it only from seminars?

And, is it different on getting a degree such as masters in nursing?:o

    Cool Re: question

Could you be a little more specific?
    Are you a nurse now?
Are you asking about graduate school?

    Re: question

Once you become an RN you can choose an area of nursing that interests you such as ICU or OR or Pediatrics and find a job at a hospital that offers internships. You can also get an externship at a hospital while you are in nursing school, working on a floor that interests you. I think that is what you are asking when you say speciality. You can also go to graduate school and become more specialized in a particular area of nursing, such as geriatrics, pediatrics, etc.
