Thread: Passion of the Christ

    Passion of the Christ

Just thought I'd open a discussion about Mel Gibson's movie "The Passion of the Christ".

After I saw it with my daughter, we were both speechless. Anyone have any thoughts?

Went to see Passion... got home late, and frankly, couldn't think of much to say after seeing this movie. I tell you my friend... it was brutal! You WILL be a changed person after seeing it. Nothing in this life compares to the pain our Christ went through.

Tell everyone you know that it is a must see.

    Re: Passion of the Christ

    Hey all,
I saw it about 2 weeks ago.
Haven't been the same since. Very brutal! As bad as it was though, I'm sure in reality it was much worse. All I could think was, He endured this for me. "...making all things new."

I am so taken aback by what Jesus did for me on the cross. It makes me think about my life in new ways. How could I ever complain about any thing down here?

    Re: Passion of the Christ

Definitely an eye-opener. I can see why it was not recommended for younger audiences. It shows all the events in their graphic and violent best. I commend Mel Gibson for having the Chutzpah to go forward on the film when no one else believed in it.

Not something for family night, but it is a welcome refresher on what Christ went through.
