Finding a job in Arkansas

My license was just reinstated with probation. Does anyone know of the best place to look for employment while on probation? I am desperate to get back into nursing. I am not sure how ready employers are to hire someone on probation. Any ideas or help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I am on probation for substance abuse. I have been clean for 2 years. I was charged with trying to procure a narcotic by fraud. (using left over morphine that should have been wasted.) I wasn't doing it for years or anything, only a few weeks actually. I went through a drug court program and my charges was dismissed and my record sealed. I am now on probation with random testing and I am still required to attend NA meetings.

I just have no idea how to begin to find a job.

Your best bet is to check out the Nurses in Recovery Forum. In fact, I am going to move this thread there.

They have some good, sound advice there and everyone tells things from what is happening to them personally.

I have generally have found that psychiatric facilites are more forgiving when it comes to this sort of thing - If you have been in a nurse support group find out where the other nurses in your group are working and try there.
