Thread: Hello nurses,

  1. #1

    Hello nurses,

It might be a nice idea if the nurses visiting would post a comment to Ultimate nurse regarding any ideas they have, suggestiion for other topics, or things you would like to see here. Once you figure out how the site works it is really pretty user friendly.

Absolutely!! Very good idea. Don't be shy. If there is anything you would like to see added to these forums let us know. And if there is anything you would like to see on the main pages of the site when it is finished let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you.

    Re: Hello nurses,

In other forums, Nursing Students have used the site to gain knowledge and have been put off. It is one thing to read about it and another to have someone who has lived it to explain it as it really is. I think it would be nice to offer them a dedicated section and then those who don't enjoy the teaching aspect can avoid that forum.

How about a "Problem & Solution" section?

    Re: Hello nurses,

How about a thread on the pda software / ebooks available specifically for nursing / medical. I use my pda daily on the floor for all sorts of things. There are good for fee and free ebooks, calculators etc out there, and some really awful ones IMHO. It'd be nice to have a spot to both share opinions and tools / strategies that work.

I'd like to see a critical care nursing discussion area too.

    Re: Hello nurses,

You guessed it. I am trying to figure out the site.
I am new to the site and looking to do some traveling.
I have talked to several companies but after reading reviews am hesitant to start until I learn more.
I am an endoscopy nusre right now or Special procedures. NOt many jobs out there in my field. Have back ground in ICU and ER but too old to cut it there full time. I have been a nurse 40 plus years.
shoelady@starband.net is my email if anyone has words of advise or has more tales to tell.
    Thanks
    Jeanne
