My assignment is pretty good. It's a busy unit M/B lots of deliveries most vag staying just 1 day and c/s 2. On nights is a good group of mostly younger nurses and travelers. I've been scheduled 3 days one week and 4 the next most of the assignment been called of just a little and worked overtime. There have been a few supplies run out but not more then any other hospital so not going to blame it on HCA. My pay has been on time and the one time it wasn't correct (it was one where I was called off then called back in) as soon as I notified them I was paid the next day. The OB dept was changing charting systems the 2nd week I was there so everyone was learning it when I was....so all in all I like it here and the off time being across the street from the beach is great. Housing allowance is plenty for this area and from what I hear from other travelers I'm getting more then twice as much as some.
