    Thinking of Travel Nursing

I have been seriously thinking of travel nursing. I have been asking around about different companies and looking at these forums for the rating for the companies that are out there. I am an ER Nurse with one year experience.

What are some good and reputable companies?

I was told to look at Cross Country, RN Network, Gentiva, Progressive and American Mobile. I put in a mini application with Travel Nurse Now and received a call from Nightingale but have yet to return the phone call.

The ratings on the forums for American Mobile and Nightingale are not good at all which makes me hesitant to go with either one.

The people I worked with personally continually brings up AM and had very good experiences with them. Plus they have a sister company that does traveling overseas which is something I would love to experience.

This is all new to me; could you all please give me some advice.

    Thank you

Try to avoid AM, I worked with Nurses Rx for 1 assignment which is one of AM companies, and the company got too big and no one seems to know who is doing what regarding paperwork and if you have a problem you call this travler hotline and leave a message and about a week later someone will call back. Payroll is disorganized.
Cross Country, RNwork, Travel Nurse Across America, Cirrus are good and there are alot of good companies. PM me for my recriter at RN NETWORK OR CIRRUS.

I agree- have not heard good things about AM. RN Network is good, as is Clinical One & Trinity Healthcare.

Thank you for your help. Spoke with Clinical One not too long ago and they were really good with me. The recruiter explained things to me that nobody else has.
Thanks Amanda, I was going to ask how they were as a company.

I have never taken an assignment with them, as I have an excellent recruiter with RN Network, but I always talked to them when I'm looking for my next assignment- they are probably who I would go with if I ever switched companies...
