I don't think there are any diploma programs at hospitals anymore. Your best bet is to go to your local community college- they can help you get started, and can help you apply for financial aid or student loans.
hi my name is brittany i live in texas. i want to purse my dreams and become a nurse can anyone give me any sdvice on what i should do. i am not sure i know i need to college i was talking to kaplan but they tried to trick me and talk me into their school that isnt even true. i am going back to our community college should i just do it there or transfer to a hoepitsl that offers it. and how did you pay for school i have ason and a husband who is also going to school so yea any advice will help me greatly

The term nurse is very broad; LPN/LVN, ADN [RN 2 yr degree], BSN [RN 4 yr degree], etc...
Go to your community college to seek out the nursing advisor/counselor. They can explain in-depth, as well as provide course outline for you.
