I've started looking into how a person can become a NP. I'm a little confused between the Master's educated, post-masters certificate, and doctorate educated NP. If I were to get my masters in nursing administration or nursing education and pursue NP later, do I get a post-masters certificate as a NP or do I have to pursue a second masters degree? How long does it take to get either one? Also, what exactly is a DNP? Thanks for anyone who can help!
