Im currently studying to become a nurse.

Currently, I am enrolled at Akron University to study to become a nurse. At the moment I am a freshmen and still kind of addled of my major. I've already changed my major from Criminal Justice to Nursing. I was wondering how the pay works when you become a nurse (btw im getting my bachelors hopefully), and is it a enjoyable job?
Somebody give me some honest feedback please!

I know the pay is by salary, but I never had salary job before...

So do you get paid every month or every week and usually how much does a starting nurse gets?

It depends on where you work how you are paid. Most staff nursing jobs are by the hour though and there are different pay rates based on how long you've been there, previous experience, unit etc. I get paid every other week and am at the top of my pay scale so I get a yearly lump sum bonus based on my evaluation
