Hello! I am new here and will be attending a cna course in January. I have some questions if you can help me out. In the past I worked as an aid for only a few months, then quit because I was promoted at my other job. Do you think it will be difficult for me to find a job once I'm certified (hopefully I will Pass) because I have little experience? I tend to think that those getting certified probably already have lots of experience already. Also, will my age hinder me? I'm in good shape, though I do smoke, but I think I can handle it. I am interested in starting just part-time somewhere, are part time cnas needed or to employers want full-time? Last question, sorry, but I know that the cna takes orders from the nurse, correct, but cna's do not oversee na's do they? When I was a nurse aid, other than the girl who trained me, I don't remember anyone giving me any special orders at all (?) Thank you so much for any answers you can give me Thank you so much!
