    What according to you are the Predictiond for Nurse Practitioners in 2012?

    Hi,
    Here are some predictions.....
    1.More NPs will Graduate with Doctoral Degrees
    2.Increased use of Health Information Technology
    3.Updated State/Federal Regulations that are Inclusive of NPs
    4.Increased Visibility
    5.Increased Utilization of Nurse Practitioners Throughout the Health Care System

    I agree with nitinajwani. I'd like to further say that in light of the push for more APRNs, 2012 could be a great year for those considering re-entering school and getting a grad-level education. With more NPs able to practice, the field of nursing will definitely grow throughout all levels of education, hopefully helping to establish a more streamlined way of treating patients while managing insurance companies, hospitals and auxiliary treatment providers.
