Hello All!
I am relatively new to the nursing field, having graduated with my RN, BSN in 2007. I worked in neurological/neurosurgical nursing for about a year and then switched to public health nursing in communicable disease. I have been a massage therapist for 20 years and still enjoy preventive healthcare and complementary/integrative medicine. I have joined this forum to learn more about nursing opportunities in other states at the clinical, administrative, and educational levels (will graduate with a master's in nursing administration in May 2011). I have a particular interest in travel nursing, as it would allow me to gain more experience in the area of med/surg while experiencing the impact of multiple administrative styles and finding a community that meets my long-term personal and professional needs. I'm looking forward to the insight of seasoned nurses from across the globe.

Welcome to the site! I hope you noticed we have a Specialty Nursing Discussion Forum; I seem to remember starting a Holistic Nurses Forum there. Perhaps you can share some of your knowledge when you are able. Somehow, I believe you might be able to share other information elsewhere.
