    Re: studying for my Certification!!

Everytime I have a major exam coming up

Try to study as much as you can stand in a sitting, then take a break and go back and study some more for as long as you can stand it.

Once the exam is over, you can relax knowing you studied your butt off and went in prepared. Pass/fail, you know you did your best.

Me too! While I am studying books, I still try to remember why I did this in the first place. I am a Senior Caregiver, and I get jobs through www.callseniorcare.com which is very steady work, and a good place to find them if you are looking, but I wanted to upgrade my skills. Give me a cantankerous patient any day as opposed to forcing me to read another book! Ugh! It doesn't matter I am in this for the long haul.

I think you get into the habbit of "learning", once you get out of the habbit (i.e. you haven't done it for a while) it seems to become harder. My advice, from my own experience, if you intend to move forwards then keep doing so, don't stop for too long and make sure you keep completing courses and keep the brain active.
