Random UA's are just that....random. If you used the night before, and you get pulled---no job. As long as it is NOT legal, there is that problem.

The problem with random UA's and Marijuana is that it shows up to 30 days out. So even if you are a truely recreational user who only uses once in great while you are bound to test positive sooner or later. I never got into Pot because I never learned how to smoke it right. I had a Dr. recently suggest it to me for my migraines but had to say no due to my history with the BON and addiction issues.

Still if it were legal I would probably grow medicinal grade in my green house - I have about a dozen species of orchids and also grow micro greens and micro-veggies out there - Still working on getting the restaurants to buy from me - something tell's me I'd have no problem marketing pot!!!!!!

Legalize marijuana, help end the war just south of out Border. In the city of Juarez so far this year, There have been over 800 drug war murders. This is more than all the Americans killed in that illegal war in the last year or two.
    End Illegal wars
    End the drug wars
Legalize Marijuana, take away the power and finances from the Drug Cartels

    Re: Legalize Marijuana

I think that marijuana should be legalized. I seriously doubt there will be widespread legalization, but I wish there were. I have seen the benefits of it in many patients and friends. While I do not smoke it myself I know many people who have used it with amazing results. As far as it being a gateway drug, that is just an old line repeated ad nauseum. That is the same line people have been using for decades. Cigarettes and alcohol have been more of a gateway drug than marijuana. Where I live prescription drugs, meth and alcohol and crack are the gateway drugs. People use marijuana to bring themselves down more gently or to get off the other drugs.
How many people do you know that have repeatedly overdosed on marijuana or died from a marijuana overdose? How many people are assaulted, robbed or killed because of your "run of the mill" marijuana smoker? Now, how many are killed or assaulted or robbed because of someone who is drunk, high on meth, crack, etc...? Numbers are a bit skewed in the latter direction aren't they?
I'll get off my soap box now

It was due to the combined efforts of William Randolph Hurst, who owned huge lots of timber used in the production of lumber and paper, and multiple paper mills. He was aided in the by Harry Anslinger, who was a commissioner in the Dept of Prohibition.

Hurst saw hemp paper as a threat to his wood pulp paper business, since hemp could be regrown yearly and would cost much less than his paper products. So he used his newspapers to print stories written by Anslinger that associated hemp with marijuana, and demonized it to the public.

That is where the drive to ban both hemp and marijuana came from.

Just like everything else in life, everything in moderation.
This is truth. To the person that said it is a gateway drug, that is a completely uninformed statement. Maybe some people have began with it and moved to other drugs but that is not what the majority of people do that smoke. The dealer that sells cannibis usually has other drugs and interests the person into trying it. Also the people that are going to try harder drugs are going to do it REGARDLESS of illegality. The majority of people who have been using cannabis in moderation for 20+ years and no problems know the truth. There are knuckle headed people that are going to abuse anything. It is not the plant, it is the people that abuse the plant that give it a bad name.

Look at the NORML website and do plenty of reading on the subject. Find the truth, stop believing propaganda and lies. I think all drugs should be legal for personal use like in Mexico now. I really wish people would stop being such sheeple and find the truth out for themselves and stop believing what they hear from some so called "authority" on the matter.

I believe that making it legal would take the fun out of it for a lot of people. As many that would try it because of legal status, that many would quit. It will only help society to legalize it for ALL uses, medical or not.

Here are 2 very informative websites for all to gain knowledge from. Use them and LEARN! Stop ignorance and fear tactics.

Sorry to say it but Walmart is a drug free workplace you have to be able to pass a piss test to get the job. However if you've ever been in an 24 hour Walmart at 2 am the meth use appears to be out of control.
