I am an experienced RN, but new to traveling, I was amazed at your earnings, may I ask how many years of experience you have?
I work for Global Nurses Online Incorporated. I do work critical care(ICU) so not sure what they will pay for other areas. I also provide my own health isurance which is really cheap.

my wife and i are looking to start travel nursing, and am just in the researching phase. was wondering where you have your private health insurance through?? thanks peter v
I did a search online and have a policy through ehealthinsurance.com with fortis
I have been a nurse a little over 3 years 2 years ICU and one year of pediatrics.
I recently worked as a travel nurse in San Diego and am now near Santa Barbara. The pay in San Diego is the lowest, but the further north you go the higher the pay. A tele nurse makes around $29.00/hr +. The housing in San Diego is very good. The La Mirage is where they put a lot of travel nurses 500+, but if you don't party or don't like noise, it isn't the place to go. There are quite a few other new apartment complexes that are just as nice and as close to the freeway for fast travel to and from the hospitals.
