First , see what the job market is for NP in your area, make sure there are positions available.
Other nursing jobs regular hours are case management, dialysis in MD office or hospital, visiting...

No ! You cannot put you are a nursing assistant on resume...because they will want your license # or some proof. etc.
but you can put that you completed a program and waiting to retake the exam.

Well, hospital nursing is very busy, hectic, 12 hour shifts and lots of computer charting.
And a nurse practitioner has choices of working M-F regular hours in a specialty of their choice, IE,...

sounds like a normal response to defend yourself.... Instinct type of incident to me. I hope they see it that way.

I mentioned career change cause it would be a new license. I met a resp. therapist who was an LPN and got caught diverting. did a program and then gave up nursing license and went back to school......

The nurse in this case was on Katie Couric show yesterday.... with a lawyer and it was interesting.

This case was settled between the nurse and hospital as I saw on AOL news.. today.. no information given on settlement...

it crosses a line when a message is posted stating exact race not allowed,as in this case discussion.... this is a tough situation

It appears that the main theme today is patient satisfaction and alot of times that goes too far.
Wonder what other administrators of other hospitals would have done.
