Center wins nursing award Found in the Jersey Journal: Jersey City Medical Center wins nursing award - Hudson County - NJ.com The Jersey City Medical Center has received a Magnet Award for Nursing Excellence , the hospital announced last week. The Medical Center was given the honor, bestowed by the American Nurses Credential Center, for the first time. Applicants for the award undergo an evaluation that includes interviews with staff and a review of nursing services. "Jersey City Medical Center is rightfully proud of the accomplishments of our nursing team. The Magnet Award reflects their commitment to patients as well as the excellence achieved by our entire hospital community," said Joseph F. Scott, president and CEO of LibertyHealth System Inc., the hospital's parent company. |
