Our client is a Hospital located right outside of Washington D.C and is actively searching for a Supervisor of Case Management.

Supervisor of Case Management
Responsibilities

• Oversees and performs Case Mgmt activities including assessment, utilization review, care coordination and discharge planning.
• Educates CM Staff in the intervention of complex cases to decrease fragmentation of care.
• Assists in oversight of financial aspects of CM, aggressive management of concurrent denials, and the 3808 process.
• Provides direction in the clinical documentation improvement process.
• Ensures collaboration amongst unit CM teams to establish appropriate plans for patients at discharge.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in State of Maryland.
• 5 years experience in clinical nursing required, with broad background.
• Strong leadership and assessment skills.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to interact with various members of health care teams.
