“Do you work for your travel company? Or does your travel company work for you?”

________________________________________
As a recent travel RN, this was a question I often asked myself. Now, as a nurse recruiter, I strive to form lasting relationships with strong lines of communication. You have so many companies to choose from and I want to make Staffing Medical USA your number one choice! If you are looking to travel, or know someone who may be interested, please call me and together we can look at what opportunities are available.
At StaffingMedical USA, we are not simply trying to find nurses jobs. We are matching a set of skills with a hospital need in an area of interest to the nurse. We are located in Arizona, a leading travel destination, but we offer travel assignments in all fifty states.

What we offer…
• Highest hourly rate (see examples below)
• Tax-free advantage - Reduced tax program offered by the IRS if you are working 50+ miles of your permanent residence. Approximately 40% of your income is untaxed - this puts significantly more income in your pocket!
• 100% paid, private and fully furnished apartments or condos including utilities OR a generous housing subsidy ($1300-$2500/month, tax-free)
• First day major medical insurance (dental and vision available also)– United Healthcare PPO (Health Insurance Quotes for Medical Insurance, from United Healthcare) for just $15/week pre-tax
• Insurance coverage between assignments for up to 2 weeks!
• 401K loyalty program – eligible after completion of one 13-week assignment. SMUSA will match your contributions up to 2% with no vesting period.
• Life insurance (free up to $15,000 when covered under health insurance)
• Round-trip travel expense reimbursement - $250 added to first and $250 added to last check - no forms to fill out, whether you go 60 miles or 1500 miles! Tax-free (You will also get this for every 13 week extension!)
• License reimbursement – 100% in second check
• Weekly pay with direct deposit
• Professional malpractice and liability insurance coverage
• Up to $2000 referral bonus ($250 per 13-week assignment completed, up to $2000)
• Completion bonuses (up to $6000 at some hospitals!) with no payroll taxes deducted!
• If you choose to take a permanent position at a hospital, we do not charge the hospital a “buy-out fee” as other companies do.
• Customized assignment locating service: Most companies simply just look at hospitals' posted opportunities when searching for travel assignments. Our Staffing Specialists take a proactive approach and can leverage our relationships within hospitals nationwide and actually create new travel opportunities for our clients. This service is invaluable to those travelers who are seeking assignments in often areas which are often difficult to staff.

Re: StaffingMedical USA

I am interested in beginning a career as a traveling nurse. I have been talking with a few recruiters and putting in my applications in a few places. Can I have some more specific details? I am interested in traveling to San Antonio in the beginning of July. At the point I will have one year of experience as an RN at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh UPMC on the post-surgical unit.

Re: StaffingMedical USA

Hello, Angie- Welcome! I'm just curious, since most recruiters aren't RN's, but I see that you are- if you don't mind my asking, do you make more or less money as a recruiter than you did as a travel nurse?
