Senior Field Marketing Manager

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Field Marketing Manager for Hill-Rom IT Solutions has specific responsibility for the product go-to-market strategy, primary contact for and support of the sales channel, and revenue assurance activities..

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan and direct all “go to market” marketing activities for WatchChild including product launches.
  • Work closely with Field Service to develop service revenue opportunities and to streamline and improve pre-sales/implementation/post-sales service models.
  • Own all aspects of the customer and Sales communication.
  • Develop positioning (messaging, value proposition), sales collateral materials (white papers, brochures) and other sales tools (demonstration tools, competitive intelligence) as necessary.
  • Responsible for measuring customer satisfaction and creating programs or activities that drive customer satisfaction such as user groups, and forums.
  • Prime for managing marketplace awareness including trade shows, customer road shows, website, advertising, mailers, and other messaging activities.
  • Support the business unit director with business analysis, market intelligence, and product development efforts.
  • Primary point of contact for Sales, responsible for facilitating the flow of information between the field (Sales, Customer, Competition) and product development.
  • Support Sales for major customer opportunities in field and in Customer Experience Center.
  • Lead for developing and maintaining sales training content, working with corporate sales training, and delivering field based training when necessary.
  • Works with product/solution Concept Developer to map future product development.
  • Understand and create pricing models for products and solutions.
  • Individual will assemble and lead virtual teams for day-to-day and project-related support from other areas of the business.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering, information technology, and/or computer science required. RN or similar healthcare degree or experience desired.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery areas within healthcare desired.
  • Ideal candidate will have 5-10 years experience in healthcare technology, marketing experience in software, medical device, medical services, or related industry.
  • Specific healthcare market and/or related IT product experience, ideally within maternal or Labor and Delivery segments.
  • Strong team player possessing excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Consistently meet high performance standards including timely completion of tasks, project management, field sales support, and customer interaction.
  • Must possess proven virtual team leadership skills and time management skills.
  • Demonstrable record of successfully managing healthcare/IT products and solutions, from creation to launch, and managing people and projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows/Office, Lotus Notes.
  • Approximately 25-50% travel required.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret standard operating procedures, work instructions, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to technical and legal inquiries on a Class Two-Medical Device from customers, regulatory, sales associates, etc.
