Labor Action Notice Given for New York
We have received the 10 DAY NOTICE for NEW YORK! The start date is November 9th.

The travel dates are November 7th and 8th. Orientation and check-in will be completed at the Hotel Command Center on these days.

Emergency Medical Solutions (EMS) is recruiting to fill 300 nursing positions for a potential labor action in NYC. All specialties except PEDS are being requested along with a few NICU NPs.

$48 per hour for the first 40hrs--OT potential
$72 per hour for all overtime, holiday and call back hours
$10 per hour for call

The hourly guarantee is 48 hours for all specialties with the option and realistic opportunity to work 5-7 shifts per week. Your flexibility and availability is key while in NYC for everyone to have a successful labor action.

If you are given the GREEN LIGHT to travel on November 7th or 8th (you will receive a toll free number to call up to the last second prior to traveling) to board your flight or to start driving to the Hotel Command Center and the labor action settles before you work a shift you will receive $1,920.

EMS will provide and arrange secure housing and travel.

Referral Bonus-going forward, for any RN that you refer for the NY Labor Action you will receive a Labor Action Referral Bonus of $250 if they work the strike.
