I plan on washing some clothes, returning some DVD rentals to Blockbuster, and surprising my wife with cooking supper ready to eat when she gets off work after 12 hr shift this evening.

My Gawd.....another male that cooks! We had husband's company picnic today, so no 'cooking ' today. Pot roast may be in order tomorrow. Yes, other half cooks....IF he is up to it, and I am not just talking about at the Lodge we belong to. If he's been 'on a roll' cooking/serving there, he's usually tired, etc.
We did do some 'shopping'today. Went looking for some things for my girlfriend, who's getting married next month. Decisions! Am moving slowly, d/t soreness and all, but it IS good to get outta the house.
I'm a little rusty in the kitchen but here is what I did. Went to Albertson's grocery store after returning DVDs to Blockbuster and bought some fresh broccoli, large can of white albacore tuna packed in water, and a box of broccoli flavored tuna helper. I added garlic powder, black pepper, and a touch of olive oil and it is now simmering on the stove waiting for "the boss" to come home after her 12 hr shift. Also, the dining room table is set, which includes a fresh bouquet of flowers.

Ah, flowers? Hmmmm. Whereas I always say I'd like to get the things whilst I am still around to enjoy them......

I tend to wonder what warrented said flowers.....as in 'What happened?'
LOL, can't a husband buy his wife flowers... for no particular reason?

I guess....but I'd still wonder what he's up to.
