Cleveland Clinic has just rolled out a new program called Cleveland Clinic Agency Resource. This is a great option for qualified nurses living in the greater Cleveland(plus!) area. It's similiar to PRN or agency work, but you get to choose when you work and are only required one shift every 90 days. Nurses hired into the program are enrolled into 3 or more of the Cleveland Clinic campuses, based on where they live and what their skills are. From there, they attend paid general orientation and facility specific orientation. After that it's all up to the nurse on when they want to work. If they feel like picking up a shift that day or even months in advance, they simply log on to their computer and request an available shift at the facility they want to go to.
The program is designed for anyone working outside of the Cleveland Clinic looking for extra shifts or someone who wants an extremely flexible work schedule. There are also short term contracts available as well.
