I'm first again
We didn't have the bad weather that was forcast. We had rain then just a dusting of snow so driving wasn't bad yesterday.
I worked and had a pretty good day mostly because the nurses I work with all "share the joy" so we get along great...wish I could work with a great group everyday. I got off at 3 because we weren't really busy....came home and was really tired after the past week so at about 5 laid down for a little nap and didn't get up until 8 this morning...I did wake up a few times but just didn't get up.
I'm scheduled to go in just from 7p-11p tonight hope they give me that off it's just extra because we have a couple of 8 hour people and are short staffed so there's a gap on the days they work and those 4 hour shifts are covered by us 12 hour people....wish those 2 8hr people would share the joy until we get new staff trained..which won't be for another 12 weeks.
Thanks for starting the thread, Cass! I got home late, and just got up a bit ago. Like you, woke up once or twice, and went right back to sleep. DH finally got me up, and did my eye drops.
The streets are clear, and it's supposed to be 'warm' tomorrow. 40's? Driveway is a bit packed still, as the snow was one of those wet types. Lucky you, not getting much snow.
Now to get some motivation; I'm dragging!
I got so motivated today I went and took a nap for a couple of hours until I heard the phone ring and it was mom saying she was bringing by some dinner. I called work and I shouldn't have to go in at 7 I'll have to call again around 5 and make sure. Saturday and Sunday are usually slow for the L&D heaven forbid somebody go into labor on their own on a weekend and make a doctor come in
