| Junior Member | In March I traveled to California, with TRUSTAFF, as a strike nurse. It was extremely disorganized but we all survived. I was asked to stay over for an extra 2 weeks in case some of the nurses called in with the "blue flu". Apparently, my recruiter failed to let the hospital officially know I was there. The PACU staff knew unofficially I was still there but I did not work. I stayed an entire week. They are refusing to pay me for my week I stayed out there. Verbally, I was guaranteed 48 hours pay!!! Is there anything I can do??? No contract was signed. ![]() |

| Re: Traveling Advice Needed!!!!! Legally, if there was no contract signed, you don't have much to go on... Always get EVERYTHING in writing!
