I got my CGFNS exam on march 2004, soon after finishing my B.Sc nursing from India. I applied for Cgfns through an agency . My present problem is that, for starting the visa screening process I have sign some bond with this agency, and came to know that the job will be as a travelling nursing in USA. I am not at all intested to work as a travelling nurse.The problem can be solve by breaking the bond with some USD 2500. But after that how will I start my visa processing , how long it will take and whether this is more good to me(someone told this agency will take some % of my salary for somemore years). I have no idea about all this matters. I am expecting your valuable guidence.

Dear Asha, I really hate to see you lose hundreds of dollars trying to break the bond you have paid for. I recommend that you let the process move forward, get to the States and get licensed. You are NEVER committed to a travel position until you have signed a contract. So, don't sign anything until you are absolutely sure what you want to do. On the other hand, the agency you are working with might be able to help you get a temporary assignment in the area where you are going to be living, for 13 weeks, and once you have completed it, you are not bound to work for them anymore. You can pursue job opportunities on your own. Just some thoughts. Good Luck!!
