Trapped in Pa due to slow verification

Help! I am trapped in Pennsylvania due to a 7 week turnaround for licensure verification. Any recruiters out there have any ideas for me? (Or any good assignments in PA?) I do L&D and M/S. I applied for an Ohio license in August, still waiting on verification from PA. I applied for a California license in September, still waiting on license verification from PA......Help me!

I have had a lot of luck in PA with the Board of Nursing. I went as high as talking to the Govenor's office to get someone in the board to take me seriously. I had 4 ER nurses get a temp license in less than a week. They told me over the phone that it would take 4-6 weeks to get a temp. Use the word emergency and tell them that the hospital may have to close a unit if you can't get your license on time. Hope this helps. You just have to be very convincing that this is a serious matter.
