Do travel companies reimburse you for your travel back home if your contract is terminated early??? My contract was terminated early while for reasons I won't mention, now my travel company refuses to reimburse me....

Re: Question for you??

I had that experience once. In that case they did not reimburse me. They offered to try to find me another contract, but they didn't try very hard. I had to pay my own way back home.

That is better than some though, I have heard of others who owed their company money due to housing expenses ect...

I dont think there are any that pay your way back if terminated. Most will pay to get you to the next job though...... Its pretty standard

Re: Question for you??

If the hospital canceled your contract because they simply didn't need you, then your return travel, or travel to your next assignment, should be covered. If however, you were terminated because of performance or attendance issues, then you will not get any return travel reimbursement, and may also be help liable for any remaining housing costs incurred by your company.
