Making the smart choice

I have two questions that seem perfect for the overarching view of recruiters...but here is the all important background information:

I have been accepted to a nursing program (RN) and been offered a scholarship to pay all of the expenses; however, I would be required to stay with the local hospital for two years after I graduate. The hospital has a reputation for turning over nurses very quickly and the pay is substandard during those two years.

I already have a BA (psychology) and have 7 years working in a corporate business and fast paced environment, so I know how critically important hands-on job experience is to getting a good job.

The Questions
--Is it better to "bite the bullet" and gain the experience and move on to brighter pastures?

--How difficult is it for a recent RN graduate to get a job? (I am not tied to location and I like to think I have a good head on my shoulders).

if you plan on travel nursing you need at least one year experience. some facilities demand two years of experience from travelers. so if you are looking at that you are well off taking the offer and biting the bullet. because so many are now traveling hospitals can ask for two years minimum experience. most arizona hospitals require that, along with all the reputable teaching hospitals.
most new rns don't get paid very well anyway. lets face it most seasoned rns don't get paid well.

If I had the opportunity to be free from student loans in 2 years...HECK yeah I would do it!! There are a lot of people out there that would bit the bullet to be rid of the loans. I feel like I will be paying my student loans for 30 years. Also you will be able to gain your experience and find the right area for you. 2 years will fly by fast and you can move on. I plan on traveling in Fall. Good Luck!

How did you approach the hospital to request the deal? I have recently enrolled in an accelerated BSN program. I already have a BS in Mathematics and have been working as a nurse recruiter since I graduated. I would love to not have to take out more loans to pay for this degree, since I already have loans for my first bachelors. I would appreciate any advice.
