    Talking april_5975

    Let me introduce myself....

I have been a LPN since Aug 2000 and have had the opportunity to work in various settings to include travel nursing and loved every bit of it and wanted to gain experience before returning to school to receive my RN. I have gained lots of envaluable experience and have approximately 4 months to go!! May 2009 I should graduate!!!!YEA!!!!! I never thought transitioning from LPN to RN would be such a challenge, but whew--previous experince sure doesn't help with those tests while in class!!!!

I am looking forward to this site and find it very informative, interesting, fun, and uplifting!!!

    THANK YOU!!!!!!

    Welcome to the site, april!

Speaking from one LPN-to-RN grad to another-to-be, the 'powers that be' do forget there are those of us who have worked in the real world. Yeah, classwork, clinicals, and Boards do tend to have the textbook case scenario in mind, and that is what gets us every time.

Drop by as often as you can....we'll be here to support you.

It is a pleasure to meet you. I, too, was an LPN before RN and understand your plight. It will be all worth it, soon.

    Much success.
