Hi there.

Is there anyone out there that either works for Barton Memorial or does travel assignments there. I'd like to know what travel companies/registries they use.
I have a 3 bedroom, 2 story beautifully decorated in Black Bear decor that is currently used as a vacation home that sits 2 blocks from the beautiful Lake Tahoe, in a quiet neighborhood. I would like to direct my rental to travel nurses for 13 and 26 wk leases for $1800 a month. The home is fully furnished...just bring your clothes and your toothbrush..oh yes, bring your swim suit, there is a private jacuzzi in the fenced backyard.

So, does anyone know of the company names that place nurses out there??

I can't believe there are no Tahoe Registered Nurse Viewers out there. Lake Tahoe Is an international vacation place. People travel from all over the world to ski in Tahoe and pay big bucks to live there.

When you find a company that actually staffs for hospitals near your place let me know. Lake Tahoe is awesome and I would love to do a stint around that area.

I was hoping to find an agency for myself reading your posts. I can't believe that there isn't an agency for Lake Tahoe. I am really looking forward to doing an assignment there this winter....

I found that if you put in the search area of UltimateNurse.com "Lake Tahoe", there were a few. I sent them an email a while back and didn't get a response. .. I just got busy. There was another one I'll try to find it and post it. I just signed up with Emerald Health Services for a local assignment (in Bakersfield). I did mention to them Tahoe and they had an assignment in Placerviilee which is about 50 mile from Tahoe (it's half way between Tahoe and Sacremento) It's a beautiful town but too far to travel in the snow conditions They also had some assignments in Reno. I'm going to talk to my recruiter again today and see if her company can hook up with Barton Memorial. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place to be. We were up there this weekend doing some home maintenance, very sad to leave. I believe it was Kirkwood that had opening day last Saturday. Snow season is right around the corner.

Anyhow, I will keep you informed and if you find a company please let me know.

I talk to my recruiter Monday and she is looking into hooking up with Barton Memorial hospital. If anyone is interested in doing an assignment up there, email me and I will forward your email, or just look them up Emerald Health Services. Jasmine is the recruiter that I spoke to. I think if enough nurses are interested, they will persue this contract agressively. Don't you think??
