Looking for first travel assignment I am a dialysis nurse of 4 years. I am currently in discussion with O'Grady Peyton about various assignments. I would like to compare though other companys to make sure that I do what is best. I am willing to travel anywhere in the US Any recruiters or nurses that are out there that can give me some information on different pay rates and benefits (medical insurance and housing) would be greatly appreciated. The best pay is very important because I will be traveling with my husband and children.

Hello, This site is an excellent place to start. Look in the travel reviews, and don't believe all the hype all the companies put to you. There are good and bad companies. Highway Hypodermics is another place, though not so candid as the nurses here. The companies are rated,so take it with a grain of salt. Weigh each option very carefully. All the best, Alexandria

Try travel nurse solutions. tnsnurse.com. I have done 2 assignments with them and they have been pretty good. I few glitches here and there but all companies have those. I take the stipend and find my own housing, the pay is much better and saves on taxes, but it is a pain to get housing and furniture lined up, but worth it when pay day come. Ask for Terri if you contact them. I have never had any pay problems with them whatsoever. Alan
