    Hello People

    Hi,
My name is Kyle I'm going to be starting college this fall to become an RN. I was wondering if anybody had any tips or tricks to share with me from their schooling experience. I definitely want to make this my career and I'm most likely going to travel as soon as I have enough experience...

Welcome! Make sure you go to class and do the reading- it's way too easy to skip classes, but you'll miss important information if you do! After you've been an RN for a couple of years and are ready to travel, just do a LOT of research so you know what's what before hitting the road.

Welcome to the site, Kyle! My advice at the moment is to keep a sense of humour; it always helps.

When you're in clinicals and the instructor says they need something done ie put in a cath, start IV, do an enema, give a shot etc... always volunteer to do it NEVER say "I've already done that once" do it over and over and over....because you're going to when you go to work.

Awesome thanks so much for the input! Don't worry I definitely have a sense of humor, and I've learned repetition is great for learning so I'll definitely keep that in mind.
