| How much experience do I need? I have been a nurse for about 13 years. However I have been in administration for the 6 years. I would like to try travel nursing in the future. What type of time do I need to be back in my specialtiy? How much clinical time before I can begin to apply for travel nurse positions? |

| Re: How much experience do I need? Most hospitals require 1-2 years of RECENT experience in your chosen specialty- so if you're looking to travel in the future, I would try to get back at the bedside for a year or so before hitting the road. |
