A & P is good, Biology if needed; Psychology and Sociology. In fact, any of the prereq's are a good idea.
Good luck, both of you! I hope you keep us posted on your journey to becoming nurses, and beyond.

Barry Manilow didn't write I Write The Songs. Bruce Johnston did.
Try to get a job working around nurses. Buy the Saunder's Comprehensive NCLEX RN and go through the thousands of questions on the cd/rom.

Well, A & P is usually a 4 hour course as is usually the case with any science you take at the collegiate level. I would recommend you take English Composition I as you will need it anyways, or maybe get bad old College Algebra out of the way.

Before signing up for any classes at the Community College be sure to talk to a nursing school advisor regard to specific outline of courses you need.
I highly recommend taking a medical terminology course, which if not required, at least could be used as an elective requirement.
GOOD LUCK!
