Idaho nursing building ahead of schedule - Northwest - The Olympian - Olympia, Washington LEWISTON, Idaho – An official in charge of building Lewis-Clark State College's $16 million nursing-health sciences building says the project is about three to four weeks ahead of schedule. Penny Dennis is the design-build manager for general contractor McAlvain Construction in Boise. She says the 59,000-square-foot building isn't closed to weather yet but its steel superstructure is mostly finished and the roof is on. She says being ahead of schedule means extra money to upgrade the building's security system and buy additional nurse training equipment. Classes are scheduled to start in the building in fall 2009. |
