Question Trying to become a nurse -HELP

hi,

i'm new to this forum and really need help to figure out my school situation. i already have a BA grad in 1997 GPA 2.6 (average) and for the past 2 years I have been taking possible prereqs A&P 1,2, Intro to Psycho, Human Growth & Dev and currently micro with a gpa of 3.6. Admittedly, I wasn't the strongest student in my undergrad. I have been making the switch when I started working with MS patients, then the elderly and chronically ill and have really found a new gift that I am really excited about but I can't seem to find a program that is an accelerated program to a regulary BS not a master (i don't know if i want to continue working with the the chronically ill or become a midwife or even a holistic nurse). i will gladly go any where in the country but i'm begining to think that i should continue working (since my job has tuition reimbursement) since i found a program that is a associates. it would take 2 years and then i guess i could continue working to take that associates to a BS. i really want to get back to school asap but am feeling lost with each schools prereqs, tuition, waiting list etc any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
thanks in advance!

Hi, steph, and welcome to the site!

Tuition reimbursement? You are lucky! If it would be easier to get your ADN, go for it! You can get your Bachelor's later on. (I'd done the LPN to BSN bit, so....I understand the $$$ part.)

Hope to hear more from you soon! :luck:

Supposedly 8 out of 10 people suffer from hemorrhoids. Does that mean that the other 2 people enjoy them???
