traveling to the states

Hi all im new to ultimate nurse.com, i qualified as a general nurse with my BSc in ireland in 2005, hope to travel to the US soon, i am currently studying for the NCLEX nd hope to do it soon. has anyone any other suggestions ho i should prepare for the change from irish to america nursing? courses, sites etc! would be greatful for any help/advice,

Welcome to the site, irish-nurse! Glad to have you with us.

Have just gotten home after an unexpected double, so am not quite thinking straight.
One thing that comes to mind is our vernacular. Am sure you will need CPR.....
