Angry travel nurse missing home

Hey everybody! I am an old RN, 26years in the ER, but new to travel. It is poles away from the staff nursing I've always done...feeling homesick for my home and my former ER. I've got 10 more weeks to go, I hope I can stick it out. Not a lot happening in the town where I am now, and several hours drive to anywhere interesting...the assignment is yucky too...poor me! Iam also working without a valid contract...very frustrating and I wish I could go home. Anyone else in the same boat? Lemme know! Maddy

:waving: Hi, maddy! Nice to meet you. Sorry to hear about the job; hope things get better. I know, 10 weeks is a bit long.....

Re: travel nurse missing home

Sorry to hear about your experience. I hope it gets better. Why no contract? Maybe that means you don't have to stay if you don't want to. I know it's not very ethical, but neither is your company......where are you? And where is home?
