| Saying hello Greetings and salutations! Just registered with the website and wanted to drop a line and say hello. I am a relatively new nurse: graduated in May '06 and received my license in August. The NCLEX was quite nerve-racking. I work on a cardiac telemetry floor on midnight shift at a Detroit hospital. I received the ADN degree and will be going back soon to finish a BSN. This is a very interesting website. I'm looking forward to future discussions. |

Why unexplainable? As bad as the online NCLEX is, I'm told it's so much better than the two day boards were. At any rate, good luck on the tele floor. I started there too about ten years ago, and ended up working with open heart patients. I've since diversified but cardiac patients are still my favorite. Good luck. R | |

| Re: Saying hello I cannot remember exactly how I came up with the name "The unexplainable Moo Cow", but here's a little history. I enjoy playing online fps games (viz. Half-Life 2), especially after a long night at work with "train wreck" admissions and "drug seekers" looking for their legal fix. Wanting to come up with a different name, a name that stood out of all the other players, I started with cows; and worked my way backward, if you will. I'm sure this doesn't make sense to you, and even so it shouldn't. Why in the world would cows be unexplainable? If I could answer that then I wouldn't be The unexplainable Moo Cow. It's reasoning in a circle; I know I'm commiting the logical falacy of begging the very question that's being asked of me. But there is no other way to explain it. Perhaps it's just my silly humor. But with that I leave you. MMMmmmoooOOO!!! |
