| New to site, and nursing Hi all, I'm a Canadian nursing student in the second semester of my first year. I found this site because I was looking for advice, as I'm starting to have doubts about myself in this profession!  |

I have posted my "concerns" under the General Discussion area, entitled "Do I have what it takes to be a nurse?" because I didn't know if it would be appropriate to post them here. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. (that's what I'm here for!) |

 | Re: New to site, and nursing Rachel welcome to nursing. Only you know if you have what it takes to be a nurse. Don't get discouraged by one clinical environment that may not be your cup of tea. March on in your nursing program to get a better idea of what nursing is all about. It is a field with many different opportunities. I'd bet you will find your niche, which does not have to be LTC.
