Wink New RN and New to this site

Hi! I am a new RN and new to this site. I don't have the nursing experience that most of you have but I am hoping to learn from your experiences. I am glad I found this site!

By the way, I am foreign trained and i am here in the US on a visitor's visa. Although I am aware about the retrogression, I am still hoping to find a job here in the US to work as an RN.

Can anyone give me an advice me on what to do?

Your inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: New RN and New to this site

Welcome! Have you gotten a US RN license yet? Once you are licensed in the US, you can just check job postings at your local hospitals & apply for them. We also have TONS of job listings all over the US posted in the jobs forum.

Re: New RN and New to this site

Yes, I got my US license in New Mexico and in Nevada as well. My only problem is there are no available working visas or immigrant visas as of now.

Can anyone tell me what to do? For me to stay here in the US and work here legally as well?

Thank you.
