New...need HELP!

I have just joined the forum after interviewing with a school for admittance to their nursing program. I am a 50 year old male who was educated in a related field, then life took me in another direction to this point where I find myself coming back around to, once again, becoming a nurse. I was a Dean's list student, class president and am an American Mensa member. I live in the Panhandle of Florida and am hoping someone can point me in the direction of a program that will underwrite me as I gain my education at the accredited school of my choice in exchange for captured service. Is there such a program? Can you help? Are there other full scholarships available? Thank you SO much.

Not sure what you mean by "underwrite". If you're referring to tuition reimbursement, many hospitals offer some type of tuition reimbursement in exchange for an agreement to work with them for a period of time after you graduate. Check with your local hospitals to see what typed of programs they offer. Also, check with your school's financial aid office to see what type of scholarships you can apply for.

Thanks, you interpreted correctly. Tuition reimbursement and scholarships were first to come to mind. These would allow me to fund school while still working. Any other comments will be welcomed.
